It opens when you pass the check in lesson 3 (When to correct). Lessons open one at a time, in order.

Three habits, one unit. Type at a pace you can hold rather than the fastest you can burst. Keep your eyes a word ahead of your hands. Fix errors as soon as they appear, once, and carry on. None of these is difficult on its own, and together they are most of what fluency is. The rest of this course is about applying them to harder material: common words at volume, awkward reaches, punctuation and numbers, and passages long enough to test your stamina.

This review lesson is longer than the previous three, and its check is the first in Fluency with a target of twenty-five words a minute at ninety-four percent, which is the Foundations graduation bar with a little more accuracy asked for. Treat the drills as a warm-up for the check rather than as separate tasks, and try to keep the same pace across all of them.

Rest between drills. Hands off, hands back, find the bumps.
  • Even pace: your consistency number should be climbing.
  • Eyes ahead: no gap between one word and the next.
  • Cheap corrections: one backspace, one retype, no retyping the whole word.

The Weak Spot Drill at the end of this lesson uses everything you have typed since the last one, including the Foundations graduation. If the same keys keep appearing as targets across units, that is the clearest signal you will get about where to spend your practice.
